About This Product
Our straw erosion control rolls are made from natural straw fiber reinforced with degradable netting, designed to protect newly seeded areas and stabilize soil on slopes, embankments, and graded terrain. Each roll measures 8′ x 112′ and is sold individually. Staples sold separately.

Good to Know
Seed before you roll — straw blankets work best when installed over a freshly seeded and raked surface, not bare compacted soil. The blanket holds moisture and improves seed-to-soil contact, but it won’t revegetate ground on its own. When installing on a slope, anchor the top edge in a shallow trench and roll downhill in the direction of water flow. Overlap adjacent rolls by at least 6 inches and staple edges every 18–24 inches. We carry 6-inch staples separately — ask us what you’ll need for your project.
